Architectural Interest with an Arched Niche
An exercise in balance, proportion and detail, combining practical storage with one of architecture's most enduring forms.
Media walls are often designed around function alone —providing a place for the television, concealing cables and adding storage. While practical, they can sometimes feel heavy, overly symmetrical or visually flat.
For this project, the intention was different. Rather than creating a feature that simply housed the television, the goal was to introduce architectural interest and create a focal point that felt integrated into the room, balancing contemporary living with a sense of timelessness.
