FIREPLACE WALL
Where function glows quietly, and form takes centre stage. A focal point with presence — blending warmth, proportion, and architectural detail into a timeless statement.
Before & After
A blank canvas transformed into a feature where function meets artistry.
This new-build living room transformation began with a deep green panelled wall — eye-catching, but ultimately decorative rather than functional. From that starting point came a more purposeful solution: the arched fireplace wall, designed to bring both character and a lasting sense of anchor to the space.
Bringing It to Life
The build process was hands-on and methodical, transforming the digital model into a physical structure.
Form Follows Function
Instead of the usual fireplace–TV stack, the layout was reimagined to prioritise function and spatial flow.
A blend of modern farmhouse warmth and Scandinavian simplicity—calm, clean, and characterful.
What began as a blank, builder-grade space is now the focal point of the room — The fireplace is deliberately offset within the room, serving as a calm focal point that anchors the space without dominating it. The TV remains the functional hub, while the fire glows subtly in the background, adding atmosphere without distraction. Surrounding built-ins complete the design: open shelves display décor, and concealed cabinets provide extra storage, keeping the space curated, balanced, and purposeful.
